News? Check. Politics? Check. Music? Check. Random thoughts about life? Check. Readership? Ummm.... let me get back to you on that. Updated when I feel like I have something to say, and remember to post it.

Planting Questions

So the first CNN/YouTube debate, for the Democrats, featured representatives of the candidates participating as "concerned citizens" asking questions targeted at their candidates' opponents. Not learning their lesson, they proceeded to include stated supporters of Democratic presidential candidates, and even one member of a steering committee of Hillary Clinton, in the Republican debate.

It's rather embarrassing that the mainstream media, which constantly cites their resources and research as a reason why they're better than blogs, can't do basic research. As Michelle Malkin put it,

Anderson Cooper would have you believe that a network that could select this question, find that 13-year-old Romney quote, create the trap for Romney (which he fell face first into), and (presumably) fly Kerr to the debate, could not type “Keith Kerr, retired Colonel” into Google and find the link to the Hillary Clinton press release, which prior to the debate appeared in the first 10 results for that search?
