Terrorist convicted
Terrorist Mohammed Taheri-Azar has been convicted of nine counts of attempted first-degree murder in the March 2006 incident where he drove his vehicle into the Pit at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He will be sentenced to between 26 and 33 years in prison. As a reminder to the world, he said at one point that he acted to avenge the deaths of Muslims around the world.
